Description:

Culinary Uses:
  • Pineapple scent
  • Peas, carrots, salads
  • Fruit drinks, mint sauce
  • Tea, ice-tea, fruit juice

  • Leaves
Medicinal Uses. It is said that:
  • Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-spasmodic, anti-flatulent, stimulant
  • Indigestion, stomach upset, heartburn
  • Gargle and mouthwash - gum infections
  • Cleanse liver, promotes bile flow
  • Tea - eye wash - remove dust and grit
  • Chew a sprig - sweeten breath
Other Uses:
  • Cosmetic: Steamer for oily and problem skin
  • Insect Repellent:
  • Aphids, ants, silver fish - in sachets between linen/ clothes
