- The Moneyplant is found in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal.
- It is a fast-growing evergreen shrub with small, glossy, velvety leaves and scented, magenta flowers with white markings that will flower all year.
- Prune to encourage a denser growth habit.
- Plant in sun or shade, in well-drained loamy soil.
- A good garden plant for forest gardens or shady gardens.
